Well-done, but not very original.

The art was decent and the animation was smooth, but this kind of game has been done so many times, it's gotten old.

DrClay responds:

Well, for a first time game I really had no clue how to do an AI (computer character) so I could only do a basic platformer styled game. When I get more into it and learn more I will be able to be more flexible.
But we all got to start somewhere right :D

Despite it not being that original, I wanted to make a classic styled game anyway, which is why it has sega music :)

And I am pretty proud of this nonetheless, because when you compare this to my old games, this is basically the most advanced :D

Unoriginal and poorly made.

This has just been done way too many times before. On top of that, the theme was bad ("The Scary Forest?" Come on, you can do better than that), the art was just a brown blob and a bunch of copy-pasted green blobs (four green circles?), and man, you really need to bump up that frame rate. I couldn't play passed the first couple levels because the cursor was lagging behind where I actually had the mouse.

Sorry, try to think up something new next time.

Sljmaster responds:

Please check your internet connection, the frame rate was 120, thats as far as it goes, if you have any more problems please contact your service provider. Thankyou

Not to be a "whiney shit" but...

It's not that great. The graphics are decent, the animation is smooth, but the game just isn't fun. And then there's the cheating, of course.

If you want to make a good game, spend more than two and a half hours on it. I'm talking days, weeks, even months to make a decent game.

Don't scream at people for giving constructive criticism; you yourself asked for good feedback.

Yusuf responds:

i "screamed" at that guy because he mentioned a glitch that hardly works. so there.

Pretty fun, but glitchy

I really enjoyed this game, but the glitches really take away from it. Such as running into invisible walls and getting squished when there's obviously nothing there.

One of the most fun games I've played on Newgrounds, but I just can't rate 10 with those bugs.

Great.

The visuals are nice, the upgrades are awesome, very good. It does get a little repetitive, though. Still, I'd say it's frontpage-worthy. Great job, make more!

There's no way this is your first game...

Well, that doesn't matter, since it's a great game anyway. Love the ending. :P

Great.

From what I've seen from the people who gave bad reviews (with no constructive criticism, by the way), they've never submitted anything to Newgrounds. I'd like to see them do better.

Anyway, the game. It's really addicting. The graphics are nice and simple, which is good, and the game itself is refreshingly original.

Just one thing. This might have been just me, but at the screen where it explains the "portal" block (not sure if that's what it's really called because of this bug), the "continue" button doesn't work. Since it's small, I won't take off for it.

Wow.

I'm going to throw bombs at this Flash because I hate it.
...
(Not really, it was great :D)

Not good.

You have to finish the game before you upload it.

Pros:
- Smooth
- Decent-ish graphics

Cons:
- Music doesn't loop
- Game is incomplete
- Only one level?
- No competition - it's just driving around.
- A little hard to control, but that might just be me.

You could have done better.

I'm giving it a highish rating because it looks like you put a lot of effort into it. It's kind of pointless, though, but if you put your artistic ability in something more creative, you could get on the front page. ^_^

I like to skate, shoot things, and make games, and shoot more things.
